Michel Schaeffer was ruim 14 jaar directielid van bol.com, een periode waarin het bedrijf zich ontwikkelde van startup tot het leidende e-commercebedrijf van de Benelux. Hij werd onder andere uitgeroepen tot Direct Marketing Man en Adverteerder van het Jaar. Na zijn vertrek bij bol.com is hij werkzaam geweest als commissaris bij diverse bedrijven en heeft hij startups en gevestigde bedrijven geadviseert over digitale- en groeistrategieën.
