    Voor de kenner is de crypotbeurs FTX en de oprichter Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) welbekend. Voor de leek is het een bizarre wereld in de marge. Maar in 3 jaar was SBF van onbekend tot bijna de rijkste man op aarde: iemand waar de wereldleiders niet omheen konden. In t-shirt en korte broek bepaalde hij de toekomst van de aanstaande nieuwe financiële wereld. Tot zijn bedrijf ontplofte en SBF voor altijd opgesloten werd (vonnis nog niet uitgesproken). Is hij de slechterik die men hem toedicht? Of is het allemaal wat ingewikkelder en is hij de vreemdeling die de afgunst van de oude financiële wereld afriep?
    Zijn geschiedenis begon in de "normale" financiële wereld. Het hoe en waarom, en hoe deze genie SBF de wereld veranderde staat beschreven in deze niet-neer-te-leggen non-fictie van Michael Lewis.
    Een fantastisch boek. Superspannend, bizar grappig en toch echt, en nét, gebeurd.
